Yesterday Ainsleigh came downstairs with a flower clip behind one ear and I heard Donovan gasp, "Oh Ains-wee, you yook boo-ful!" Although they can fight something awful, they are also really good friends. And no matter how much he loves to play Robin Hood in the back yard (miming a bow and arrow, quoting the cartoon, marching around singing the processional music from the movie, etc.) while she is at school, he is always really excited when she comes home from school. And that is really great to watch.
Here are some pictures from when I was in New Hampshire and Joel took the kids to a farm.
WoundWatch: you know the steri-strip the nurse said would last a couple of days or so? Yeah, it fell off when I was changing into pajamas last night. And I'm not exactly an aggressive...stripper? So far, it's holding fast. I suppose, worst case scenario, I will have the equivalent of the little pocket on the sides of Roos shoes. That could come in handy. (GROOOOOAN - WORST.PUN.EVER.)

Um yeah. Worst pun ever. :) BTW - I love Ainsleigh's short hair. I think I may have said that before. She looks so new york chic.
