a good start

You know you're in for an amusing day when your 4-year-old chooses to SKIP from the table to the dishwasher with his bowl containing a bit of milk and, in so doing, sloshes a bit over the side. That he manages to skip ON. And suddenly his feet go up and his body goes down and the bowl and the spoon clang down beside him and the milk...the milk goes everywhere. It looked like I had put milk in a spray bottle and spritzed my floor and cabinets. And Donovan, trying and failing, to get up from the now slippery mess, is quickly apologizing (which was actually kind of adorable, seeing as how I was worried he was hurt and he knew he had brought this all upon himself) and Gemma comes crawling in and both of her arms whoosh out from under her and now you have two kids soaking in milk and a messy kitchen and 2 minutes to leave for school. But I've already run 4 miles and showered and started laundry. Game ON, Wednesday.

I"m just trying to get Finn to sleep longer than 20 mins so I can eat...or use the bathroom. But you've taken on the army.

it is so true how exercising in the morning turns spilled milk into a great blog post, otherwise spilled milk (especially of that magnitude) is a perfectly good reason to run away.

Hahaha, I love how you put things. I feel like I was there. Laughing.

About to do my run and now you have me giggling :) At least I can start my run on a good note! Love reading about your life - you make me think more positively.
