"Christmas is a long time away. Do you think you can wait that long?" I wondered if he would get where I was going with this.
"I am NOT going to forget. You're going to help me remember. That's all I want for Christmas." Generally I try to prep my kids for their presents to maximize excitement and gratitude. In this case, with his birthday on Saturday slowly marching (pun!) toward us, I don't think I even need to give him any hints.
And in response to the charming Emily's question about whether or not Donovan is obsessed with it...how will it affect our relationship if I admit that maybe I am a little sort of kind of a tiny wee bit attached to the game myself. I mean, not like I've had a ton of dreams about it or anything. And by a ton I mean more than five?
In totally unrelated news, I signed up for the Warrior Dash and was particularly amused by this item in the waiver:
2. I understand that Warrior Dash presents extreme obstaclesI not only understand, but am counting on it.
including, but not limited to, fire, mud pits and steep hills.

SARAH! You sound like Noah (my four year old!) He tells me atleast once a day, "Mom you know what I dreamed about?" or, "You know what I was thinking about?" He acts totally shocked when I can guess everytime! My husband really loves it too but I can only take so much! HA HA! ;)
I can't wait to read about his reaction when he gets it this w/e.
